Spot Light on Christmas and Sneak Peeks - Week 3

Hello all

Welcome to week 3 of sneak peeks and we are now only 1 day away from the Stampin' Up! Autumn/Winter catalogue launch! Yay!

As soon as I saw the Designer Series Paper that I've used in today's project I knew it was going straight on my shopping list. The most amazing part is that the catalogue doesn't even remotely do it justice, it's even more stunning in real life. The Home for Christmas suite has a very strong retro, Christmas days of childhood feel done in a super stylish way.

Today's products are
Cozy Christmas stamp set 139776 wood mount
139779 clear mount
Home for Christmas DSP 139592
I also used the following items from the new catalogue
Real Red Pompom trim 139617
Cording Trim Gold 139618

The treat bag die works so well with these papers, imagine it with candy canes for a super cute gift.

If you'd like a copy of the catalogue I'll be happy to send you one.

Spot light on Christmas and Sneak Peeks - Week 2

Hi all

Welcome to week 2 of sneak peeks of projects from the Stampin' Up! Autumn/Winter catalogue launching on the 1st September.

This week actually features only two items from the new catalogue, everything else is from the annual catalogue. BUT there is one small addition and it is actually the most important part in my opinion :)

This week I've played with the Santa's Gifts stamp set.

You'll find it on page 68 of the annual catalogue

So the embellishment from the Autumn/Winter catalogue is Home for Christmas enamel dots and I used the smallest red one for his nose, which is why I said it was the most important part of the project! The enamel dots come in two sizes in Real Red, Old Olive and white. I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun with them too!
The other, not so obvious addition is Stampin' Up! BRAND NEW Archival Black Ink. It's without doubt the best black ink I've ever used and it was perfect for stamping my little Rudolph. This is a crafting must have that I would really encourage you to add to your wishlist.

Home for Christmas Enamel Dots item number 140536
Archival Stampin' Pad - Basic Black item number 140931
Available to order from 1 September 2015

Spotlight on Christmas and Sneak Peeks - week 1

Hi all

The Stampin' Up! Autumn/Winter catalogue launch is only 3 weeks and 1 day away! It launches on the 1st of September and you are all going to love it!

It's never too early to start planning your Christmas projects. So whether your thing is gift packaging, memory keeping, home decor, card making or all of them! There is something to get you excited in the seasonal catalogue.

So let's dive in with the first of 3 projects I'll be sharing with you over the next three weeks.

Today's project features the Happy Scenes Stamp set and Hearth & Home framelits. With this beautiful window die you can create endless wonderful scenes. My card isn't strictly Christmas which I think shows it's versatility as a stamp set to use year round.  It's available as a bundle price saving you 15% when you purchase the stamp set and dies so be sure to look out for these deals throughout the catalogue when it launches.

Bundle price £31.25 item number 140853

These products were used in addition to the stamp set and dies above.

Hey Girl! card using Stampin' Up! supplies

Hi all

I loved the stamp set I've used for today's project as soon as I spotted it in the catalogue. I could just see the possabilities and the creative juices were flowing.

So many options and that's what makes a great stamp set in my opinion.

The card I made was for a challenge I took part in this weekend to make a card with a tag.

I stamped onto DSP from the Cherry on Top Stack and fussy cut them to make her 'clothes'.and handbag. The shoes and bow were made by stamping onto Watermelon Wonder and fussy cut. Ink pads and aqua painters were used to colour the image in and  I used the Crushed Curry Stampin' write marker to add some extra definition to the hair, Tempting Turquoise for the eyes and Watermelon Wonder for the lips.
The final touch was some Crystal Effects on her eyes, lips and shoes.
Don't worry about lining everything up, the stamps are photopolymer so you'll see exactly where you're stamping.
